Liver causes: High bilirubin is related to liver causes. I wonder if your injury that caused the laceration caused a liver injury . Also, some medicines can cause bilirubin increase. Follow on these bilirubin values with your doctor, most of the time it is a benign process. I hope you are not an habitual user of alcohol. Avoid alcohol and tylenol (acetaminophen).
