Not really: Cellulitis is an infection of the skin and superficial soft tissue; it is usually treated with just oral antibiotics. As long as you are on appropriate coverage, there should be no issue.

Typically no: Depends on a lot of specifics, but likely no. As long as it is fairly limited, you are not systemically ill i.E no breathing issues or fever, and you are not having any surgery that can become seeded and infected, such as mesh or hardware implanted. If possible, smartest to treat it and delay surgery if it is elective.
