Many types: Generally, i tell patients to look for shoes that have removable insoles. You take the insoles out and slip the orthotics in. Thay was there can be enough room in the shoe. Good luck.

Athletic shoes.: Some orthotics are made to fit in narrower dress shoes, but as a general rule you're going to want athletic shoes. They're the most supportive, and will accommodate the bulk of any orthotic device best. Depending on your foot type, there are lots of brands to choose from, but you can start with asics, new balance, saucony, brooks, or mizuno?
