?: There is no such thing as an eye transplant. Only corneas can be transplanted. Glaucoma does not limit a corneal transplant.

No: It is not uncommon for patient who has glaucoma to also have a condition of the cornea that requires some form of corneal transplant. Obviously - one has to keep the eye pressure under control - either with drops or surgery.

No: There is no such thing as an eye transplant . You are referring to a corneal transplant. Uncontrolled glaucoma can lead to decreased survival of the corneal transplant. Glaucoma should be controlled medically before transplantation or an additional glaucoma surgical procedure should be performed before or at the time of transplantation when medication fails to lower the pressure adequately.
