Good question: You should ask your ophthalmologist this question. Observation is a reasonable option for glaucoma suspects. High risk individuals, such as those with a strong family history of glaucoma, are treated by some but not all ophthalmologists.

Depends...: If there are high risk factors for the development of glaucoma, sometimes a doctor may recommend treatment. However at times it is also okay to wait as long as there is close monitoring to assure changes do not occur that cause the condition to turn into glaucoma. If you have concerns, bring them up with your doctor to come up with the best plan for you. Good luck!
