Not at all: Depending on the cause of your pain, the endorphins released in the brain during exercise are well known to act like narcotics and reduce pain sensation. Thus, the "runner's high." needless to say, you should get your ankle looked at because the last thing you want to do is run on something that could make a small injury a big injury.
