A member asked:

Is it okay to file my own tooth?

No: Would you do your own open heart surgery, or bunion removal, or cast your broken leg? Your dentist has spent many years training to do the work that you require in the quickest, most non-invasive way possible. Leave it to the pro's.

Irreversible: Dentistry is not a diy project; if it was, you could learn how to to it @ your local home improvement store. If you file it incorrectly, you may not be happy with the result, and then you will still need to see a dentist to fix your mistake. Do your teeth a favor and see a dentist.
