Maybe: Sometimes laser vision correction is offered after cataract surgery in order to decrease dependence on glasses, but it is not required. There is another type of laser that is sometimes needed to improve vision in about 10% of cataract patients called yag capsulotomy. Speak to your cataract surgeon to clarify.
