Constipation?: It sounds like you have the feeling of incomplete stool evacuation during a bowel movement. A bowel obstruction usually is a mechanical obstruction on the intestine caused by scar tissue from previous operations, hernias, masses in the intestine, ect. If constipated i recommend increasing the fiber and water in your diet, and add a stool softener such as colace (docusate sodium). If symptoms continue, see a md.

Constipation: At your age constipation from not drinking enough water or eating enough fiber- or both is probably the answer. Doubt it is a bowel obstruction unless you have a hernia or you have had prior abdominal surgery.
