Sometimes: Overexposure to a high amount of eye drops can sometimes make eyes dryer. This process can follow from preservative exposure, sensitivity to the drop used, or causing an imbalance to the tear film. Although a preservative free drop can be beneficial, you can also try a "balanced" drop which treats all layers of the tear film (mucin, aqueous, & lipid).

Eye drops: You can use the drops as many times as you want and they will not make the eyes drier. If your dryness is not controlled, you should see an eye doctor for further treatment.
