Yes you can drink: Cold water when pregnant. From a traditional chinese medicine standpoint, the healthiest way to drink water is a room temperature. The concepts are a little complex & come from the perspective of eastern medicine. See: http://universaltcm.Wordpress.Com/education-information/cold-foods-cold-drinks-caused-health-problems/. A 34-year-old female asked:
How much water should you drink while pregnant?

Water calculation: Water intake should be based on weight. At a minimum, drink 1/2 ounce per pound (so 65 ounces if you weigh 130 pounds). In metric, this is 30-31 mL per kilogram. So the 130-pound person is equivalent to 59 kilograms. At 30 mL per kg, that gives a daily total of about 1.75 liters (59 x 30 = 1770 mL). This amount should increase as your weight increases, especially in the third trimester.
