2 Nd opinion: If your think that your symptoms are not fully addressed talk to your physician or seek second opinion. May be it is natural cause or your physician needs to reevaluate you.

See below: Thoracic pain after a motor vehicle accident may simply be sprain as diagnosed. Thoracic segmental dysfunction where the facet joints (joints where the vertebra stack on top of each other) are slightly out of alignment can result in a sharp pain with rotation/deep breath. Posterior rib subluxation is possible as well. Thoracic disc herniation remains a consideration. Pain persists- see your doc.
