Why does my gi doctor remove only large but not all polyps during colonoscopy? is she suspecting malignancy and think i may need surgery anyway?

Ask: You need to ask your GI doctor this question. I can only assume that your doctor suspects these are hyperplastic polyps which are benign and do not need to be removed.

Discuss with her the: You should discuss with her the reason she is not removing all the polyps.It can not be reason that you have cancer.She will tell you if the pathology report on the polyps removed showed any evidence of cancer talk to her and ask these questions.
