Probably inflamed: It's probably an inflamed or irritated nerve from the surgery. If it doesn't improve in a few days or if you have weakness you need to contact your surgeon.

New evaluation: Your original symptoms obviously lead to assumption that you had a pinched nerve that could be cured by surgery. As often happens, this cure did not occur. Some other disorder must be considered. Also, some complication from the surgery may have occurred. You need a new evaluation. A second opinion may be appropriate.
