Does medical school do character check before admitting medical student? integrity of docs is tarnished due to greed & deception in recent yrs.

Yes: I don't think it's the greed of doctors and i don't feel like there is deception among doctors. Doctors are paid less now(adjusted) than they were 20-30 years ago. I think physicians overall are still one of the professions where there is still a calling, altruism, ethics and integrity.

Yes: Medical schools take the decisions of whom to accept very seriously. The vast majority of physicians are dedicated, hard working, ethical and professional. Their integrity is not in doubt. Like society in general, a few choose not to make the right choices.
