ACL sprain: Acl sprains can take up to 6-8 weeks to recover from. What's most important is that you focus on core strengthening so that you have the strength to return to play and be as safe as possible. Returning before you have full strength can place you at risk to completely tear your acl.

2-4 wks: By minor= no ligament damage, min swelling, min to no bleeding ( hematome, discoloration). U can expct fast recovery. Is swollen, discolored and very painful you should see an orthopod for eval & rx. May need a cast. If torn ligaments 6wks to heal ligs + rehab 2 get 2 where u were b4 injury. Adds about 3-4 wks.If done with a good program and dedication 2 it.
