Knee ligaments: Severe injuries of the knee involving 2 ligaments & meniscus will require a few months to 6-8 months to recover depending unpinned the selected treatment . Non surgical care using a brace , NSAIDs and pt typically results in some recovery within 2-3 months . Surgery , to include acl reconstruction , partial menisectomy will require the longer quoted period of time
