MRI: The good news is there is no torn meniscus. The joint fluid may make the knee feel swollen and tight restricting range of motion. The ACL sprain should heal with resting the knee and taking anti-inflammatory medication like ibuprofen or naproxen,if you're able to take them. Until the knee effusion resolves, hopefully without aspiration, the knee won't feel normal. Follow the advice of orthopedist
