Vertigo recurrence: Vertigo can be caused by a number of reasons related to a portion of your brain and ear called the vestibular system. Cold viruses can sometimes cause a condition called labyrinthitis which can in turn result in vertigo, ringing in your ears and even hearing loss. Persistent or recurrent vertigo should be evaluated by your primary physician.
