A member asked:

I have a little fluid behind right ear drum, can i get vertigo from it?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Unlikely the cause: Fluid can come and go behind the ear drum over a period of weeks with no symptoms. The fluid originates from the walls of the middle ear and simply does not exit through the normal drainage path through the eustachian tube.Vertigo is more an issue of the inner ear nerve.
