Had numerous tests drs unsure what's wrong possibly chronic appendicitis. should i pursue and see surgeon or drop since pains mild started in oct 2012.?

Chronic appendicitis: Chronic appendicitis is a very rare condition. Other etiologies for pain in the similar area can be due to small hernias or other internal problems that may not be seen unless a diagnostic laparoscopy is performed. Would also make sure that you have also obtained a ct scan of the abdomen and pelvis as well as a colonoscopy prior to surgery. See a surgeon.

Up to you: It depends on how bad it is. Sounds like it is not something life threatening or severe, so watching it or getting a surgical opinion are both reasonable.
