Appendix eval : I believe you do have a propensity of developing appendiceal inflammation, most likely because of its anatomy. The approach has changed significantly and now antibiotics are preferred over surgery. In practice patients with recurring episodes are eventually considered for appendectomy- appendix removal, based on the frequency and severity of the symptoms.
