Depends: It depends on the size of the clot and how much it affects blood flow, as well as how much reserve you have. I've seen cancer patients that were otherwise healthy with massive clots, detected incidentally on a screening ct - otherwise, felt fine. On the other hand, i've seen small clots that have laid elderly patients low.
