Two different meds: Acetaminophen is not an anti-inflammatory. It is a pain reliever and anti-pyretic (reduces fevers). Ibuprofen and Naproxen are both pain relievers nad anti-inflammatories. They are nsaids (non steroidal anti inflammatory). For headaches, everyone is different. For some one works better and others it is the opposite.

Big difference: Every person has their own favorite headache medicine. Acetaminophen lacks the anti-inflammatory effects of Ibuprofen and naproxen.
