Menstrual migraines: See a neurologist. triptans or Fioricet (acetaminophen butalbital and caffeine) may work. If frequency is more than 4 days a month then prophylactic medications will help.

Addition of caffeine: For these types of headaches, without getting into prescription medication, and anti-inflammatory such as Ibuprofen, combined with caffeine(i.e. coffee or Mountain Dew) often helps. An ice pack 15 to 20 minutes at a time is also helpful as is stretching affected neck, etc. muscles.
