Fluid in scrotum: Hydrocele is a collection of fluid within the scrotum that causes enlargement of the scrotum and inability to palpate the testicle. It can be "communicating" where the scrotum varys in size from day to day. It can also be "noncommunicating" where it is static. It can result from trauma, tumor, or occur naturally. Surgery can fix it.
