Orchiopexy: Orchiopexy (or orchidopexy) is a surgery to move an undescended testicle into the scrotum and permanently fix it there. Orchiopexy also describes the surgery used to resolve testicular torsion.

See below: Repair consists of a small inguinal incision, dissection of the spermatic cord from the surrounding attachments, ligation of a hernia if one is present and placement of the testicle in the scrotum in such a manner as to prevent its retraction. A small second incision is placed over the scrotum. Exceptions occur in up to 10% of the cases from the above description.
