Hip "redo": A total hip revision surgery is a surgical procedure in which further work is done on an initial hip replacement surgery. This can range from a relatively straight forward exchange of the femoral head and acetabular liner or plastic; to a complex revision in which all of the original implants are removed and replaced with specialized revision implants.
