I have chronic constipation. i take metamucil, i exercise, drink lots of water.only prune works, but i don't want to eat prunes for the rest of my life?

Eat your fiber: Lots of water and fiber are requirements for evryone. If you tend to be constipated then you need more fiber. You masy need to add more metamucil but must also add it to your diet. I also recommend an evaluation by your physician and you may need a colonoscopy or other colon screening as well.
