What if our family dr gave my 5yr old the same dose of the flu vaccine as me? could this be a problem?

Not at all: 5year olds are given the same dose as adults of the flu vaccine only 6 months to 36 months old are given half the dose and other half after 1 month.So even they get full dose as adults in two injections.
