Depends on...: Whether your baby has received flu vaccine in previous years. It's 2 doses a month apart for the 1st year that a child under 9 years old gets flu vaccine. Every year after that is 1 dose per year. Children 9 years and older are always 1 dose per year. Children 24 months and older may have the nasal mist instead of the injection, as long as they don't have asthma, diabetes, or heart disease.
