A member asked:

My husbands having bad migrain's & it feels like someones pounding really bad at him medicine don't work what should he do?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Not unique: First, not all meds work with all patients, and it is important to try several approaches if so. Botox is often successful in breaking up the pattern, and occipital nerve blocks may work several preventative meds, both prescription and otc can be tried. Maybe you need a local neurologist, or even a headache specialist to work closely with your husband.
