Migraine: Migraines can be rather painfull and mainifest with eye pain and light sensitivity. It is important he see is pcp and perhaps a migraine specialist to see if some medication would help lessen his migraine occurances.

Agree: Migraine seems correct, although some of the description raises a question of cluster headaches, which could well respond to a preventative med such as Depakote or topirimate. See a neurologist and have treatment initiated.
