Unlikely: Severe bacterial utis are commonly associated with dysuria (burning). You need to be seen by a urologist to further investigate the bleeding source from your lower urinary tract (i.e. Bladder or prostate origin). I would not wait. You can have any number of problems ranging from prostatitis to bladder cancer. Please seek attention as soon as possible.
