Xanax (alprazolam): It's a medication prescribed for anxiety disorders. At start can cause sedation drowsiness.Should be used cautiously and as prescribed has a high potential for abuse and addiction should not be a sole treatment for anxiety.Discuss with your doctor if needing to use more than prescribed caution with drinking while on this med.
