Possibly: Igm levels reflect the strength of your immune system. Although there is some fluctuation in your level of igm i would no expect it to change if your child had a cold recently.

Incomplete info: You can order an IGM test for a specific agent, like measles, or get IGM levels in general. When specific, it notes a recent infection with that agent.A general IGM level might be up after any acute illness. When you submit a question it is important to include as much specific info as possible to allow concise answers.
