To many to list: The cause should be addressed by your doc if the situation requires it. It can be as simple as smoking & drinking to over-exercise to an inherited defect to a variety of illnesses. It may be just a lab error. Your doc an review your medical history & current situation to put this in context.

Insignificant if..: If you had a low IgM level without associated low IgG, the result is likely either an error or insignificant. Consult with the provider who ordered the test.
