Electrical Study: Cardiac electrophysiology is the specialty of cardiology which deals with the heart's rhythm and conduction system. Practitioners, called electrophysiologists diagnose and treat rhythm disorders with special studies, medicines procedures (including ablations and pacemakers) to help restore and maintain a normal heart rhythm.

Heart rhythm : Electrophysiology test is exam to test the electrical system of the heart. It is invasive test where catheters are advanced through the veins into the cardiac chambers. Basic measurements are done then heart stimulation is performed to provoke arrhythmia. It is done under controlled setting and your doctor can initiate and terminate the arrhythmia using the catheters

Heart Rhythm: Cardiac Electrophysiology is the study (and treatment) of the heart rhythm disorders and how the heart responds to electrical impulses. (The heart generates electrical impulses to coordinate the beating of the heart - how the heart muscle generates & responds to electricity is the study of cardiac electrophysiology).
