Radiculopathy: Radiculopathy is the name of the condition we often call “pinched nerve root”. When a spinal nerve root is compressed, inflamed or damaged, there are often symptoms of pain, numbness or weakness. Often, nerve roots are affected in the neck or in the lower back. This leads to symptoms that affect certain regions of the arms or legs.
