New Eating Decisions: Most of us can make improvements in our usual eating behavior. Making adjustment to limit unhealthy food, or emphasizing healthy foods, would be a healthy diet change. However, not all diet changes share healthy eating characteristics (e.g., fad diets that focus on extreme limitations or exclusions). Lifestyle changes: When you day "diet", I am assuming you want to either reduce your weight or maintain a good healthy weight. This entails lifestyle habits to eat the proper portion sizes and choose the right foods. Other actions that have been proven to help in weight maintenance include writing a foods journal, weighing yourself daily, and exercising. I emphasis all these in my diet programs offered to patients.
