A member asked:

I think i have vertigo as my mum had it and i have the same symptoms could i take her betahistine hydrochloride 8mg?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: It is never wise to take someone else's medication no matter how reliably you think you have the same disease. You need to get check-out first, and then if the presciption is given, taking the same medication is ok.
