My sense is that this wasn't a true allergic reaction or even an intolerance to that product. Your symptoms are not characteristic of an allergic reaction. If your symptoms don't resolve, see your physician or a neurologist for an evaluation & advice. Any appropriate testing will be ordered. In the meantime, if you're getting relief from the betahistine, continue it.
