Hi. i had a check up with my doctor and she said i had vertigo and gave me betahistine although its been weeks and i still feel nausea and dizziness.

May need drug change: Most causes for these symptoms such as benign positional vertigo, labyrinthitis, or a bout of meniere's may take a few weeks or even longer to resolve. If you have not noticed any improvement with the current dose of betahistine, go back to your doctor. She may either increase the dose or try another medication such as Meclizine or cinnarizine.
