Hi. my ear is ringing or hissing, left. after a vertigo. went to an ent im on betahistine for 2weeks. but unable to see him for the ringing since the ringing was after my consult. will betahistine do?

Monitor: You can continue with betahistine and see if symptoms improve. If not need to see ent for re-eval. If also having hearing problems may need to be evaluated for Meniere's disease. There are other inner ear and nerve related problems for which you may need evaluation if not improving.
