Why isn't my pain meds tramadol working for my crevical sprain ?

Not not enough: Tramadol is a pure pain medication, it does not have antiinflammatory properties that advil or Aleve (naproxen) have. Cervical "sprain" can have pain due to swelling, inflammation or even neuropathic pain. See your physician to find the best treatment, which might include physical therapy, accupuncture or other modalities to complement medication, and time.
