Could be, or: It could be chronic bronchiectasis. Have her get a bronchoscopy and send samples off for fungal culture as well as the usual tests. Is she exposed to mold in her home or workplace? Might have those checked out as well.

Wake up after half hour of sleeping choking,bp high. dr gave dilated 12.5mgdaily. stopped dilatrend for 1day to make echocardiogram&stress test& was gd. no symptoms now but read about compensate heart failure. Could it be masked or its not the case?
