My husband had pneumonia went into a choking hard coughing spell .passed out because his heart was pumping too much and stopped . can this cause a heart issue?a difibulator was inserted could the heart issue be caused by his lung issue?

You do not provide enough info about your husband's medical history but I guess he has had significant underlying heart problem so defribillator was implanted due to life threatening cardiac arrhythmia. Pneumonia should not cause his heart problem but it may exacerbate it. Vogorous cough can cause vasovagal syncope and pacemaker may be indicated in certain patient but not a defribillator.
