Yes: If you really had wpw, it would be a consistent finding on ekgs. If you have medications what modify the rate and rhythm of your heart, or if you had some type of heart procedure (or had a pacemaker put in), then that would alter the appearance of the ekg. For the most part, though, you could be diagnosed by ekg in your fps office, and it could be confirmed by ekg in the cardiology office.
