Maybe: Only way to know is to try it. But don't give up after only one treatment. And i would also get more than one opinion before jumping into jaw manipulation. I am not a fan of scraping bone against bone before other options are tried.

Not alone: If by manipulations you are referring to chiropractic care, remember that without simultaneously supporting the new jaw position that results from an adjustment, the cervical alignment will revert back. So, fabricating and adjusting a bite appliance after each visit to a nucca, ao or osteopath will be of limited value. When , combined dramatic results are possible.

Caution!!!: Be careful when allowing manipulations of the jaw joint. A specialist should be the one doing it, if at all. Manipulation of the jaw may result in torn articular disks and additional symptoms. Don't try and do yourself.

Occasionally: Occasionally. Depends on the type of TMJ problems. See an oral surgeon for expert advice.
