No: I have seen studies indicating cinammon is good in controlling diabetes but I have not seen any studies showing it helps with weight loss.

Absolutely: At least in rat trials there has been weight loss. Cinnamon will help improve glucose management. It is actively being studied by the fda. Use it if you are eating a high carb diet. Effective dose is 1-6 grams per day.
